Steven Milson's October 2 letter, "Stick to facts on ICE," criticizing Dan Holzman's week earlier letter condemning law enforcement efforts by ICE agents earns mixed reviews.

Below is the email letter regarding the government shutdown I recently sent to my Members of Congress (U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson, and U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan). I urge other citizens to do the same.

“As your constituent, I am urging you to vote “no” on any government funding bill that:

Dismayed by the actions of President Trump and his administration? Don’t wait until the 2026 mid term election to register your discontent. Your vote is your voice, but the opposite is also true - your voice is your vote.

Donald Trump says there is an “enemy within.” He is correct. The enemy is he. He is waging war against our cities.

On January 6, he sent his thugs to sack Washington DC. Four years later, the president pardoned all his convicted criminals.

How many of those pardoned criminals are on the high-priced ICE payroll?

Your President continues his policy of lying to the American public. His speech to the United Nations was a disgraceful embarrassment to our country. He repeatedly lied and made over a dozen false statements about climate change, renewable energy, the economy, immigration, and international relations, among others.

Fall is a great time in Wisconsin for many reasons — one being fall agricultural tourism, or “agritourism.” Wisconsinites flock to farms across the state for wagon rides, apple cider donuts, and elaborate corn mazes.

Starting this month, insurance premiums are going to double for millions of people across the country at a time when we are already paying by far the highest prices in the world for health care. Throwing 15 million people off of Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act will have dire consequences.

Art Naebig’s letter on Oct 2nd, stated “…homosexuality isn’t something one can choose.”  I’ve read articles representative of the infamous ‘science of man’ and found, there is no such thing as a homosexual gene.
