On a special night honoring the Armed Forces, it was the duo of senior quarterback Landon Schultz and senior tight end Kade Kinney who stole the show in the opening game of Sauk Prairie’s 2024 football season.

Nearly six decades later, Sauk Prairie boys soccer coach Drew Kornish believes that hymn holds true for his 2024 Eagles.
Sauk Prairie girls swimming team began the season with a fourth place finish in the five-team Blue Division at the DeForest Invite last Saturday. The Eagles also finished fifth in the five-team Red Division and fifth in the five-team White Division.

The Eagles won two of three matches at the La Crosse Invite on Aug. 19. Sauk Prairie defeated La Crosse Logan, 7-0 and downed La Crosse Central, 5-2, before falling to La Crosse Aquinas, 7-0.

After a week of practice and a Saturday scrimmage at Williams Bay, the Wonewoc-Center/Weston Silverwolves co-op football team is ready for game action this week as the regular season begins Friday night at Weston High School against Valley Christian in eight-man high school football action with a 7 p.m. kick-off.
Weston looks to take a step up from a one-win season in 2023 on the volleyball court this fall and the Silver Eagles open the 2024 season at home this week.
Week one of the regular season was an extremely busy one for the Reedsburg Beaver girls tennis team, but successful as well, with the Beavers winning four of six duals, with all four wins coming in dominating fashion.
The early days of the season have been a learning experience for most of the members of the Reedsburg Beaver Girls Golf team, which has only two players that entered the season with significant golfing experience, seniors Macy Monte and Ashley Meyer.
Reedsburg had competitions on four consecutive days last week.
The regular season opener is this Thursday for the Reedsburg Beaver boys soccer program against a strong DeForest team at RAHS.
Coach David Fitzpatrick has an 18-player varsity roster at this time, and nine of them are varsity returnees while the other nine will be newcomers as far as the Reedsburg varsity roster is concerned.
