Heights girls roll past Johnson Creek

That’s more like it. Wisconsin Heights’ girls basketball game entered its game with Johnson Creek last Thursday on a two-game losing streak. But the Vanguards put an end to that with a 67-24 destruction of visiting Johnson Creek. “I thought our energy level was good throughout the game,” said Heights coach Bill Sullivan, whose team improved to 2-2. Heights did a lot of things extremely well against Johnson Creek. Miranda Keith led the Vanguards with 14 points and five rebounds, while Natalie Hering added 10 points and four steals. Ashley Adler had nine points, seven assists and six steals, Kaya Teela had six offensive rebounds and seven boards total, and all 12 players on the Vanguards’ roster scored. Heights forced 31 turnovers and turned those into 35 points. The Vanguards had 21 assists on their 30 field goals and finished with a season-low 12 turnovers.
