Heights boys split two

Wisconsin Heights’ boys basketball team split a pair of games last week. The Vanguards defeated Dodgeville, 61-47, last Friday. Heights also dropped a 77-48 decision to Lakeside Lutheran on Dec. 10. Heights is now 3-1 on the season. In the Vanguards’ win over Dodgeville, De’Shawn Barsness led the way with 19 points. Devin Brabender added 17 points and Cole Cribbs scored 13. Heights sprinted to a 37-16 halftime lead and cruised in the second half. In the Vanguards’ loss to Lakeside Lutheran, Barsness had a team-high 15 points. Carson Hosking and Cribbs both scored seven points, while Jonathon Holcomb and Brabender each scored six.
