Heights girls split a pair

Wisconsin Heights’ girls basketball team rolled over Poynette, 53-32, last Saturday. The Vanguards also dropped a 67-56 decision to Lodi last Thursday. Heights is now 4-4 overall and has yet to play a conference game. In the Vanguards’ win over Poynette, Ashlee Adler had a game-high 19 points. Kaya Teela added nine points and Kelsie had eight points. Heights held a narrow 15-14 halftime lead, then pulled away in the second half. In the Vanguards’ loss to Lodi, Handel led the way with 15 points and Hanna King added 13. Natalie Hering had eight points and Adler had six.
