Heights boys hold off Darlington

It wasn’t easy.
Far from it.

The Vanguards put four players in double figures, led by Everett Buol’s 18. De’Shawn Barsness added 17, Cole Cribbs had 13 and Rhead Jacobus had 11.
Heights led, 40-35, at halftime, then survived a thrilling second half to emerge victorious.
The Vanguards also lost to Darlington, 53-43, last Tuesday.
Barsness led the way with 20 points, while Devin Brabender added nine.
Darlington led, 30-22, at halftime, then kept the Vanguards at bay in the second half.
Heights is now 7-7 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Capitol Conference.
