Three named to volleyball all conference teams

The River Valley High School girls volleyball team had three girls named to the SWC All Conference teams for the 2020 fall sports season. Sophomore Brooke Anderson as setter and junior Kate Hanson a right side hitter made the second team.  “Kate (Hanson) had a solid and consistent season,” said River Valley head coach Mariah Hill. “Brooke had a stand out first season as the varsity setter and worked extremely hard all season to make sure she got the second ball. She lead the conference and her team in service aces with 25.”  Outside hitter, sophomore Katie Hahn was named to the honorable mention list.  “Katie (Hahn) had a great first full season on varsity. She was asked to play both outside and middle hitter this season and was willing to do anything for her team,” continued coach Hill.  River Valley ended their season fourth in the conference with a record of 4-6 and an overall record of 6-8.
