After a sluggish start to the season, the Weston Trap Shoot Team came back strong in the final weeks to come out on top in Conference 5 of the Wisconsin High School Trap League.

They brought home the conference title, placed three shooters in the top 20 in the state and placed nine shooters in the top 20 in conference. Chloe Gillmore finished first in conference and second in state.

Top 20 girls in the conference were: Chloe Gillmore, first place; Lora Hinz, third place; Abby Verthein, fifth place; Karlee Peasall, ninth place; Allison Gillmore, 19th place; and Lily Kast, 20th place.

Top 20 boys in the conference were: Garrett Granger, six place; Danny Feryance, ninth place; and Hayden Verthein, 20th place.

Coach Jerry Larabee Jr. had this to share about his team this year, “There was some awesome shooting this season. Congratulations to this team on your Conference Championship.”
