South Central DHI announces top cows through November
South Central DHI has released its list of the best-performing cows through November 2020.
The top Holstein came from Bells Udder Farm in Camp Douglas. O-2400 produced 44,667 pounds of milk that tested at 4.3 percent and 4809 cheese yield.
The best colored breed was a Brown Swiss from Switzer Tal Farm in Prairie du Sac. Denali produced 29,223 pounds of milk that tested at 4.4 percent and 3140 cheese yield.
Remaining cows are recognized by owner, community, animal name, pounds of milk and cheese yield.
