Boys basketball heads to regionals

The River Valley High School varsity boys basketball played two games this past week. The week started on Monday night in Mauston. River Valley took a 57-47 loss that night. Hughson Thatcher and Sam Pape led the Blackhawks bringing in 13 and 11 points respectively. Thursday night the boys hosted Prairie du Chien. River Valley collected a 37-56 loss that night. Thatcher led the night with 12 points with Cole Nabbefeld bringing in nine points. This week River Valley started their post season on Tuesday night against Edgewood. They go into this in third place in the SWC with a conference record of 6-4 and an overall record of 10-14.
