Eagles’ swimmers fall in dual meet

Sauk Prairie’s girls swimming and diving team fell to Monroe/New Glarus, 118-52, on Sept. 17. The Eagles’ 400-yard freestyle relay team of Alyssa Himebauch, Natalie Klein, Ava Flanagan and Kaylee Oleson was first. Sauk Prairie’s quartet of Oleson, Kate Himebauch, Flanagan and Alyssa Himebach was second in the 200-yard freestyle relay. And Sauk Prairie’s 200-yard medley relay team of Natalie Ballweg, Addisyn Ranzenberger, Kate Himebauch and Klein was third. Individually, Oleson won the 200-yard freestyle and was second in the 100-yard backstroke, while Alyssa Himebauch captured the 50-yard freestyle.  Flanagan was third in the 100-yard freestyle and Klein was third in the 500-yard freestyle. Sauk Prairie’s divers of McKenna Breunig, Ranzenberger and Kylee Ballweg also captured the top three spots.
