Heights XC teams compete at Midwest Invite

The Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld boys cross country team finished in 44th place at the star-studded, 52-team Midwest Invitational last Saturday. Kirk Caminiti was the Vanguards’ top finisher, placing 102nd overall and finishing the 5,000-meter course in 17 minutes, 7.5 seconds. Travis Dreikosen was 200th (18:11.1), Andrew Murray was 327th (20:33.7), Finn Sutherland was 335th (21:22.7) and Isaac Prochaska was 336th (21:27.6). Tirzah Caminiti was the top finisher for the Vanguards girls, placing 222nd overall. Bela Muschitz was 273rd, Brisa Nicholes was 295th and Sofija Lang was 297th and
