End of the road

River Lubchansky and the Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld boys soccer team had their season come to an end last week. The ninth-seeded Vanguards defeated eighth-seeded Central Wisconsin Christian, 5-3, in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on Oct. 24. Heights/Barneveld then fell to Lake Country Lutheran, 8-0, in a regional final on Oct. 26. The Vanguards finished the year 8-7-4.
