Mary “Molly” Lee (Jurkowski) Pudelko
Mary “Molly” Lee (Jurkowski) Pudelko was born October 21, 1935 to Leo and Marietta (Geier) Jurkowski in Summit Township, WI. Molly passed away on March 19, 2026 at Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mauston, WI.
She will always be remembered for her quick wit and sassy comebacks. She always had a way of making people laugh throughout her life, even until the very end.
She grew up on a farm in Summit Township and graduated from Mauston High School. She raised her family with George Pudelko in Roseville, MN. She worked at the Roseville Area School District, Rausch Manufacturing, and Lake Ridge Nursing Home in St. Paul. After her family had grown up, she moved to Decorah, IA where she had a small hobby farm and worked in many healthcare jobs. In the the early 1990s, she moved back to WI and settled in LaValle and continued to work in the healthcare industry. She spent much of her free time gardening, raising fruit, vegetables, and flowers. Many people were gifted the fruits of her labor of raspberries and grapes. She spent her final months at Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she left a bright spot in the lives of all who got to know her and who cared for her.
Molly is survived by her daughter Daree Selby (Don), son Gregory Pudelko; grandchildren Robyn Kohler (Mitch), Logan Selby (Sophie), and Lindsey Velde; great grandchildren Beckham Kohler and Leo Selby; brother Leo Jurkowski; dear friend Jenny Poulson (Kevin).
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Ann (Jurkowski) Footit, many family members and dear friends, including Loretta Christian.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for all of their care and compassion. We couldn’t have hoped for a better group of people to take care of our mom, grandma, great grandma and dear friend.
A Celebration of Life for Molly will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A light lunch will follow the service.
