Kathryn Anna “Kathy” Stenner
Kathryn Anna “Kathy” Stenner, age 53, of Reedsburg. Kathy passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Kathy was born on December 23, 1972, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert E. and Nancy L. (Bodendein) Stingley. She was a 1991 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg. On June 5 2009, she was united in marriage to Michael Stenner, who preceded her in death on September 1, 2020.
Kathy worked in healthcare and was known for her caring and compassionate nature. She had a big heart and a tremendous appreciation for all creatures, great and small, especially kittens and puppies. She loved rescuing animals and giving them safe and loving homes. Kathy also enjoyed taking rides in the country, where she could admire nature and look for wildlife.
Although her favorite color was blue—almost to the point of obsession—her greatest joy came from spending time with her nieces and nephews. The love and laughter they shared brought her happiness, and those memories will be cherished forever.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Nancy Stingley; her sister, Corina (Jeff) Wormet; her brothers, Gary (Victoria) Stingley and Charles (Nicole) Stingley; her nieces and nephews, Colin and Delaney Wormet, Joshua (Lucy) Stingley, John Stingley, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Rieder, Samantha (John) Ellefson, and Mallory and Max Stingley; her great-nieces, Lilly and Eden; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Stenner; her father, Robert Stingley; her paternal grandparents, Hannah and DeWitt Stingley; her maternal grandparents, Nicholas and Anna Bodendein; and her nieces, Rachel and Sarah Stingley.
A Celebration of Life service for Kathy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Fusch Center in Reedsburg. Pastor Beth Voigt will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sauk County Humane Society.
A private family burial took place at the Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg.
The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family.
