Eagles’ swimmers split a triple dual
Sauk Prairie’s girls swimming team split a triple dual on Sept. 24.
The Eagles bested Baraboo, 94-52, but fell to Lodi, 107-63.
Sauk Prairie’s 400-yard freestyle relay team of Alyssa Himebauch, Kate Himebauch, Ava Flanagan and Kaylee Oleson finished first.
The quartet of Flanagan, Oleson, Kate Himebauch and Alyssa Himebauch was second in the 200-yard medley relay. And the Eagles’ foursome of Natalie Ballweg, Joslyn Schultz, Gracia Bare and Kate Himebauch was second in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Oleson won the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle. Claire Handschke was also fifth in the 500-yard freestyle.
Flanagan was second in the 200-yard IM, while Ava Handschke was fifth. Alyssa Himebauch was second in the 50-yard freestyle, while Kate Himebauch was fifth.
Alyssa Himebauch was second in the 100-yard freestyle, while Flanagan was second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Ballweg was third in the 100-yard butterfly and Ava Handschke was fifth. Ballweg was also fourth in the 100-yard backstroke.
