Three Eagles named all-conference

Sauk Prairie’s boys basketball team landed three players on the all-Badger Small Conference team. Senior guard Tristan Kerska was named second-team all-league, while junior guard Nic Keyser and senior forward Ben Henderson were named honorable-mention all-conference. “All three had great seasons for us on both sides of the ball,” Eagles’ coach Sean McGann said. Kerska averaged a team-leading 13.7 points per game. He also led the Eagles with 5.4 rebounds per contest and added 2.1 assists per game. Keyser was second on the team in scoring at 11.3 points per game, first in assists (2.4) and third in rebounding (4.5). And Henderson ranked third on the team in scoring (9.8), second in rebounding (5.0) and third in assists (2.0). “Obviously losing Tristan and Ben next year will be tough for us,” McGann said.  “We put a lot on Ben on the defensive side of the ball and Tristan is a guy who created a lot of offense for us with his ability to get by people. “But I think Nic could have an awesome senior year with a good offseason ahead of him. We have a group who is hungry next year and we are ready to get to work.”     All-Badger Small Conference     Boys Basketball           First Team Name School Yr.
