Preston Powell qualifies for WIAA State Golf for the Beavers


RAHS junior Preston Powell shot a career best round of 74 last week and earned a trip to the WIAA Boys State Golf Tournament in D-1 at the Holmen Sectional. Powell had the third best score of any golfer in the field and will play this week at the WIAA State Meet at University Ridge just outside of Madison. (School District of Reedsburg photo)

Reedsburg will have a boys golfer competing at the WIAA State Tournament for the first time in nearly 10 years this week after RAHS junior Preston Powell punched his ticket to state with an outstanding round last week at Holmen Sectional.
