Florence M. Harvestine

Florence M. Harvestine
On Sunday, July 5th, 2026 at age 81, Florence M. Harvestine, of Mazomanie, WI, surrounded by love and light, broke free from the chains of dementia at Pine Villa in Prairie Du Sac, WI. She was born on June 7th, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Florian and May Dolatowski. She was a graduate of Tuley High School of Chicago, IL in 1963, and in May of 1994 she graduated from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College with a degree in Accounting. Over the years she worked a variety of accounting and administrative positions. During her life she achieved many things, like High Honors and a nomination for the Ambassador Award while completing her degree, but when asked about her greatest achievement, she would always say “my girls,” referring to her 4 daughters, Samantha, Justine, Lindsay, and Jessica. Florence was known for many things, some would say her love for crocheting, fishing, and gardening. Others might say she was known for her famous Polish dishes, her mastery of cribbage, or that she would never turn down the opportunity to play a game of cards. Those closest to her knew her for her gentle heart, soft spirit, and abounding love she had for her family. Florence is lovingly remembered by her 4 daughters, Samantha (William) Sanchez of Lone Rock, WI, Justine (Jason) Myers of Mazomanie, WI, Lindsay Fischer of Milton, WI and Jessica Harvestine of Muscoda, WI. Her grandchildren, Mandy (Cliff) Smith of Fallon, NV, Krista (Shaun) Biggs of Dayton, NV, Dakota Sanchez of Milwaukee, WI, Christian (Tony) Fischer of Janesville, WI, Austyn Fischer of Janesville, WI, Kalyn Fischer of San Diego, CA, and Ethan Myers of Mazomanie, WI. 3 great-grandchildren, Jax Smith, Nikola and Dimitri Biggs. Furthermore, she is survived by her 2 sisters, Patricia (Alex) Mikulski and Pamela (Robert) Ingram both of Acworth GA. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Florian and May, her 2 sisters, Geri Fernschuss and Veronica (John) Nunley, and her brother, William (Mary) Dolatowski. Per Florence’s wishes no formal services will be held. The family would like to thank the staff at Sauk Prairie Hospital, her Agrace Hospice team and the staff at the Pines Villa for the compassion, empathy and grace she received while in their care. It will forever live in our hearts. Online condolences are available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com. The Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
