The Beaver girls soccer team is in the midst of the most successful stretch in any season in recent memory and the hot streak continued last week with one win coming against a state-ranked team, another rarity in recent seasons.

The Ithaca/Weston Track and Field program is looking to the Ridge and Valley Conference Meet on May 20 at North Crawford High School but I/W got a sneak peak at the rest of the league’s teams and athletes on Thursday last week as the R&V schools, plus Fennimore, competed at Kickapoo High School.
The Beaver girls suffered a couple of disappointing losses in league play last week in Badger Small softball before closing out the week in style, with two lopsided wins on Saturday at Nishan Park.
The Floggers have taken over the top spot in the Monday Night Men’s Golf League at the Reedsburg Country Club, holding a seven-point margin over Evergreen Custom Builders.
