When you call the River Valley School District, a person answers the phone. They are the district’s first point of contact. Not an answering service or a recording— a person (unless someone is on the line). We employ outstanding people as administrative professionals, and when you call the following schools/offices, here are the people that will answer your call: • River Valley Early Learning Center (588-2228) - Nadine Westphal • River Valley Elementary (588-2559) - Sarah Schaller and Michelle Orcutt • River Valley Middle School (588-2556) - Tricia Larson and Nancy Tabrizi • River Valley High School (588-2554) - Luanne Kindschi, Joannie Harrington and Elly Schram • River Valley District Office (588-2551) - Paula Wedige, Gwen Gorman and Julie Kuhse You will not find more thorough, patient, and prompt help than from these staff members. Even though it isn’t, they make the work look easy. They are essential to our daily work. Each of our schools/offices has a tremendous team that is family centered. Office hours during the school year are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Monday through Friday). Call our schools/offices to take care of the following items and more:. • To answer a quick question • To set an appointment to see an administrator • To find a school counselor • To put money into your lunch account • To see a school nurse • To pay for athletic/academic/field trip fees • To find out how to get information on our district budget • To receive excused/tardy slips before going to class • To check for lost and found items • To sign out before leaving school • To find out about employment opportunities • To obtain a work permit • To ask questions about transportation • To find out how to reach your School Board representative • To get a band-aid or receive first aid • To get help with technology If you have a question, give us a call.
