Duane J. Parkin On November 13, 2024, Duane J. Parkin, age 64, of Spring Green, left the confines of his wheelchair and walked freely to a new life. Duane was the son of Russell and Wynona Parkin (deceased) and father to Brittany Parkin of Massachusetts. He is survived by his devoted sisters Monica Hamm (Jordan Ellefsen), Jean Porter (Clay), Susan Gundlach (Gerard), Victoria Lane (Rick) and Cynthia Pletcher. Duane was loved and admired by his many nieces and nephews. In their eyes he was a Hero. Though not the life he would have chosen, Duane always made the most of his situation in spite of its many challenges. A private burial will be held at a later date.
