Roxanne M. “Rocky” Lucey

Mount Horeb--Roxanne M. “Rocky” Lucey, age 72, of Mount Horeb, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Ingleside Manor. She was born on April 17, 1952, in Madison, the daughter of Wayne Fries Sr. and Louise (Anderson) Fries. Roxanne graduated from Middleton High School in 1970. She worked for 37 years at Meriter Hospital, where she retired from medical records. Rocky loved traveling, shopping, camping in Door County and playing slot machines (she always won).  Rocky is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Jamie Hansen) Reyes and Kristine Springer; son, Scott (Hannah Fofana) Lucey; mother, Louise Fries; sisters, Karen Fries, Rosemary White and Kathy Starrett; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Wayne Fries Sr.; brother, Wayne (Katie) Fries Jr.; aunt, Linda Topper; grandmother, Lillian McNurlen; and nephew, Christopher White.  A celebration of life will be held at GRANDMA MARY’S CAFE, 175 US-14, Arena, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
