Fay ‘Faye’ (Fullmer) Camp Templin

Baraboo, WI.--Fay ‘Faye’ (Fullmer) Camp Templin, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at almost 103. Faye was born in North Freedom, WI, to Reno and Alice (Black) Fullmer on June 15, 1922. 

Her family soon moved to Reedsburg where she graduated from high school in 1940. On October 25, 1940 she married Russell Gorst Camp in Dubuque, Iowa. Four children, Sharon, Susan, Cynthia, and Keith were born to this union. 

After Mr. Camp’s passing in 1954, and with four young children, she married a Lime Ridge bachelor farmer! Neighbors were dubious of this union. They were married almost 40 years when Mr. Templin passed in 1996. The children loved growing up on a farm; she quickly learned to be a farmer’s wife, including butchering, planting, canning, freezing, and serving huge threshing meals every August. 

Faye loved to travel and camp, read, do crossword puzzles, play piano, and sing; she had a beautiful voice and was complimented many times. 

Survivors include her daughters, Susan and John Campbell, Wisconsin Dells, and Cynthia Camp, Burlington, WI. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a dear friend, Mary Ann Finley. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; both husbands; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Alan Sugden; son, Keith Camp; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Glenn Gossage, Indiana. 

Per her wishes, a small private graveside service was held April 5, 2025. Assisting with arrangements is Baldwin Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, WI.
