Mary L. Neises, age 76, of Monroe passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on January 13, 1949, the daughter of Otto “Snooty” and Cecilia “Tillie” (Alt) Hemberger in Reedsburg, WI. She was united in marriage to Dale G. Neises on April 1, 1967 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg, WI.

Mary was the Office Manager for two doctors in Reedsburg for 35 years, retiring in the late 1990’s. She enjoyed: crochet, needlepoint, Suduko and watching cooking shows with Dale. After Dale’s retirement, they moved to Weslaco, TX from 2011-2024; in 2024 they relocated to Monroe, WI to be closer to family. 

Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dale; children, Lisa (Randy) Czarnecki, Tom (Meghan) Neises, Christopher “Boomer” (Sasha) Neises; grandchildren, Sydney (Jarret) Wilson, Devin Neises, Collin (Kate) Czarnecki, Nicholas Czarnecki, Codey Neises, Caden Neises, Bryce Neises, Ashley (Steven) Ceithamer, Kevin Foote, Kyle Foote, Kylie Nelson, Haylee Nelson; great-grandchildren, Parker Wilson, S.J. Ceithamer, Arthur Ceithamer; siblings, Darlene (Don) Mulock and Tom (Betty) Hemberger; and many close and dear friends at Rio Valley Estates in Weslaco,TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Ferdinand; and sister, Charlotte (Alan) Koepp.                    

A private family gathering to honor Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
