Richard/Dick “DB” Bill used to say “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well”. He lived his life well. We joked that we should do “everything in moderation, buddy” but that was because he showed his family and friends how to live well and squeeze the most joy and friendship out of each day. If you didn’t know DB, you hadn’t met him.

Harold Raymond Janechek, passed into Paradise on August 22, 2020 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI, with his beloved wife Diane by his side. Harold was born on January 10, 1945 in Reedsburg, WI, to Harry and Dorotha (Burgess) Janechek. Harold and Diane (Gates) Janechek were married on a crisp cold day on February 19, 1966, 54 years ago.

Ervin R. Cole, 87, of Reedsburg, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the Reedsburg Senior Life Center.

Ervin was born July 25, 1933 in Wisconsin Dells to the late Alfred and Mildred Cole. Mildred died during child birth to his sister Mabel when he was 2 years old. When Ervin was eleven, Alfred married Bessie Cole.

Donald Christ Sarnow, 92, a resident of Casa de Oaks Reedsburg, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center.

Loving husband, father and grandfather, Jerome W. Doll “Jerry”, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 28, 2020.

Claudia M. Brylla, age 85, of Reedsburg, died peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Our House Senior Living surrounded by her family. She was born on May 1, 1935 in Richland County, the daughter of Henry and Della (Doering) Peterson. Claudia was a graduate of Reedsburg High School and the Sauk County Normal School.

Virginia L. Erickson, age 84, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2020 surrounded by her family, after a lengthy walk with cancer.

Allan D. Held Sr., age 64, of Reedsburg, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in his home. He was born on November 10, 1955 in Reedsburg, the son of Gilbert and Caroline (Hesse) Held. Al was a 1974 graduate of Webb High School. On March 2, 2007, he was married to the former Gail F. Renkor.
