PHOTOS: Reading training at Weston

Nicole Lehr, literacy consultant from CESA 6, was recently at Weston demonstrating shared reading lessons in 4K through second-grade classrooms. A shared reading lesson takes place over three to five days, depending on the grade level (4K and third are three days, kindergarten and second grade are five days). Lehr modeled the first-day lesson for teachers. While debriefing, teachers planned for the next two or four lessons. These lessons were all recorded for staff training.
