The Weston School district provided a summer professional development opportunity for staff the week of July 26-30. Kim Sowden, professional development specialist with Curriculum Associates, spent one day with elementary and junior high math teachers. They received additional training and support using math resource, iReady, which the district has used for five years. Weston presented Lerna Mae Wiese with a patriotic wreath in honor of her late husband, Lester, who passed away on April 8, 2020. Lester, a Korean War veteran, was one of the first veterans that Weston sponsored on the Badger Honor Flight back in 2017.
