Thurber-Greenwood VFW Post 1916 Auxiliary in Reedsburg kicked off its first-ever Day of Service on May 7at the Kids Ranch in Rock Springs. David Gonzalez Jr. of Liberty Flag prepared a place to install a flagpole outside, as well as mount an inside bracket and install and indoor flag. The remaining outdoor flagpole pieces and flag were installed three days later because the concrete needed time to dry. Madison College’s Reedsburg campus recently hosted a pinning ceremony for spring 2022 graduates of the associate degree nursing program. Students finished 66 credits, which included classroom and online instruction, nursing skills labs, simulations and direct patient care in clinical settings.
