Pauline P. “Polly” Tichenor Pauline P. “Polly” Tichenor, age 93 of Spring Green, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her residence following an illness.  She was born on June 6, 1931, in Bear Valley, the daughter of Henry and Agnes (Carmody) Duren.  Polly was married on May 9, 1953, to Louis J. Tichenor.  Polly was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and worked at River Valley Schools in the kitchen for many years. Polly enjoyed traveling with her late husband Louie and their children. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, flower gardening and hosting family get togethers at her home.  Survivors include a daughter, Constance Horgen of Spring Green; two grandsons, Tyler Tichenor of Spring Green, Daniel Horgen II of Spring Green; a great-granddaughter, Arlow; daughter-in-law, Debby Tichenor of Spring Green; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Agnes Duren; husband, Louis Tichenor; a son, Gale Tichenor; a son-in-law, Daniel Horgen; and a daughter-in-law, Laurie Tichenor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Spring Green, with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
