I write because some readers may be unaware of a very large transmission line being proposed for construction in Vernon, Crawford, Richland and, eventually, Sauk and Columbia counties. An important, first informational meeting about the proposal will be held on Thursday, November 20, from 4-6 pm at the Westby Community Center at 206 N.
