Reedsburg Area Medical Center has a new EKG machine thanks to donations from RAMC Foundation donors. The device measures the heart’s electrical activity to check for different conditions. It can be used in both in- and outpatient settings, but will be based in the inpatient nursing unit. RAMC Imaging Director Andrea Miller said, “This additional unit allows the nursing staff to perform an EKG as soon as it is ordered, rather than waiting for medical imaging staff to complete the study. The Reedsburg HS Wrestling Team competed in the Malecek Team Camp in July. Wrestlers experienced team bonding while competing in eight duals. There was also an individual tournament. The camp included teams from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. The Beavers were team champs in the John Smith Division, going 6-0 in the division and 6-2 overall. (Submitted photo)
