The Reedsburg Beaver girls basketball squad set several school records last season with their strong scoring prowess, team-wise and individually, and it appears this year will provide more of the same with all of the players back for another go-round.
A short-handed lineup spelled doom for the Reedsburg Beaver wrestlers at Fort Atkinson last week. Reedsburg saw many of its top wrestlers not able to compete and it proved costly in a 42-33 dual meet loss to begin the season.

The River Valley High School varsity cross country teams had three students named to the 2020 SWC All Conference teams. Julius Ross was named to the first team All Conference. Seth Rhoades was named to the second team All Conference.

The River Valley High School boys varsity wrestling team began their season this past week with a meet against fellow SWC team Lancaster at home. Lancaster won the dual 57-21.
The River Valley High School varsity boys basketball team returned to competition this past week. They started their season off on Friday night playing the Platteville Hillmen at home with Luke Thatcher returning as head coach.
Three seasons ago, Sean McGann was the freshman coach at Sauk Prairie High School.
McGann loved the fight and tenacity of that team.
When the Eagles begin their 2020-21 campaign, McGann will have much of that gang back together again.
