A poll of Wisconsin newspaper readers showed most support designating Colby as the state’s official cheese.
From July 7-20, Polco asked readers of WNA-member newspapers if they support a bill to recognize Colby as the state cheese. The bill was recently introduced to honor the cheese, which was created in Colby, WI, in 1885.
