STANEK COLUMN: Public officials shouldn’t ban media from gatherings

I recently received notification that Sen. Ron Johnson’s staff is holding mobile office hours to allow constituents to share their views and concerns.

This is nothing new; just about every state and federal leader holds office hours, open houses and town-hall meetings to gather citizen input.
