A Columbia County judge recently called the sale of our Sauk County nursing home a “valid public purpose” because it might pay off some debt and put the building back on the tax rolls. I hate to break it to you, Judge, but that’s not a public purpose. It's political doublespeak–unless your public purpose is to give away care and dignity.
