Forty bats in twenty minutes, all while the crickets sang. It was a lovely evening. It is getting dark so early now that the bats start swooping out before eight o'clock. I haven't been able to count the bats until now because I was too busy counting mosquitoes! Thankfully, the cooler evenings have reduced the swarm.
