Evelyn Roessler (nee Hodgson), age 79, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at UW Hospital in Madison. Evelyn was born on July 30, 1940

PRAIRIE DU SAC - Donald Thomas Nesvacil, age 82, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020. He was born on April 3, 1937, to Ed and Grace Nesvacil of Mazomanie. Don loved going on trips, especially when boating was involved, and he enjoyed gambling when he had the chance. 

BLACK EARTH- Dean M. Lucey, age 92, of Black Earth passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020. He was born on June 15, 1927, in Mazomanie and was the son of Wilfred and Coletta (Hawley) Lucey. 

Wisconsin Dells) Vernagene  (Genie)  Doering Sawyer, age 84, passed away on Feb.10, 2020.  She was  born  on April 24, 1935 in Marshfield, WI. to Elston “Al” and Pearl Doering. The family moved to Prairie du Sac in 1951 and she graduated  from Prairie du Sac High School in 1953. Gene married Al Sawyer, an Air force recruit, in 1954.

Theresa M. Cregger (Reeve), age 55, passed away on Feb. 14, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison after a valiant battle with cancer.  She was born in Sauk City May 17, 1964 to Don and Janice (Miller) Reeve.  Theresa was united in marriage to Richard Cregger in Las Vegas on Nov. 5, 2004; “everyone bet against us, but, we won”.

Virgil Roman Paar, age 80, of Cross Plains, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2020 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie.  He was born on November 25, 1939, the son of Lawrence and Rose (Wipperfurth) Paar.  He was united in marriage to Joan Willey on July 24, 1962.  His lifetime passion was farming on the family farm.  He enjoyed Sunday drives, visiting

Daniel “The Duck” (Ducky) Ambler passed away January 4th, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. He was born April 25th, 1955 in Keshena, WI. One of eleven children of the late Earl R. and Lucille M. Ambler.

BLACK EARTH - Burnett Vilas Severson, age 94, of Black Earth, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was born on May 21, 1925, in Vermont Township, the son of Elmer and Bertha (Espeseth) Severson.

Dickie A. Noggle, 58, is now at peace after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dickie was born on August 10, 1961 in Superior, WI and has lived in various places in the state, living in Mazomanie for the past 20 years. Over the years, he worked at Waunakee Alloy, Schmit Drywall and various other ventures.
