Curtis F. Mueller passed away in his sleep on October 19, 2019 at the age of 85. He was born on July 17, 1934 in Alma, Wisconsin to Oliver Peter and Dorathy Mae (Bemis) Mueller. After graduating from Prairie du Sac High School in 1952, Curt went on to earn a degree in Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin in 1957.
BLACK EARTH-Harold Robert Wood, age 93 of Black Earth passed away on Oct. 7, 2019, at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home at King, in Waupaca,Wis. Harold was born in Richland County in the town of Willow on January 27, 1926, to Jesse and Vada (Locke) Wood.
John David Hasheider, age 72, passed away unexpectedly as the results of a farming accident on Oct. 8, 2019. John was born Dec. 1, 1946 to the late Marvin and Helen (Accola) Hasheider. He was a graduate of the Sauk Prairie High School; Class of 1964. Following High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and served in Vietnam.
Janet Elva White, age 77, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was born May 13, 1942 to the late Ralph and Frances Arnold. Jan was the oldest daughter of five siblings.

BLACK EARTH – Joseph M. Neubauer, age 78, of Black Earth, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. He is survived by son, Christopher (Maribel) of Chicago; daughter, Lisa, (Marty Morin) of Mount Horeb; and granddaughters, Shayla, Jacey and Emilia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne.
Mariellen Brockman, age 76, of Prairie du Sac, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019. She was born in Baraboo on July 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Clarence and Angelaine (Steuber) Zimmermann. She graduated from Prairie Du Sac High School in 1961.
MARXVILLE - Norman “Norm” C. Muller, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at UW Hospital in Madison of complications from heart disease. He was born on November 3, 1937 near South Bear Creek in the Town of Forest in Richland County, WI, the son of Noel “Duddy” Muller and Avis (Newlun) Muller.
PRAIRIE DU SAC-John Schlub, age 91, of Prairie du Sac, passed away on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at Pine Villa. He was born on Feb. 25, 1928, in Glen Flora, Wis., the son of Adam and Elsbeth (Aliesch) Schlub.
