Robert L. McWilliams, age 94, of LaValle, formerly of Reedsburg, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, on the family farm. He was born on October 17, 1930, the oldest son of Harvey and Vera (Pugh) McWilliams. Bob attended grade school in LaValle and was a member of the Reedsburg High School Class of 1949.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Gerald (Jerry) Oscar Mittelstadt, who left us on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 87, following a heart attack at the U.W. Hospital.
Kenneth A. Fry, age 72, of LaValle, WI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family following a valiant battle with heart failure. He was born on August 29, 1952, in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert H. and Laverne L. (Robinson) Fry. Ken proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Mazomanie--Gloria Mae Beaver left this world peacefully to be with God on December 20, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born on November 17, 1930 in Poynette, Wisconsin to Martha (Zechel) and Daniel Smith. She was the “apple of her mama and papa’s eye” being the last born of 8 children. Mom graduated Valedictorian of her Poynette HS class of 1948.
Mount Horeb--Roxanne M. “Rocky” Lucey, age 72, of Mount Horeb, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Ingleside Manor. She was born on April 17, 1952, in Madison, the daughter of Wayne Fries Sr. and Louise (Anderson) Fries.
Prairie du Sac/Muscoda/Richland Center--Judy Ann Harper, age 78, of Prairie du Sac, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS. Judy fought ALS on her terms and refused to let it take control of her life, right up to her last days.
Our beloved, James H. Rice, 78, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2024 after a brief illness. He passed away peacefully with his wife at his side.
