February was American Heart Month. I received a press release about it but I forgot to share it with you because I am, at times, completely stressed out. I’m sharing it now because the message is still good and honestly I can’t think of anything else to write about this week:

We have been made aware of a news story circulating about Seresto Flea and Tick Collars and since we have been recommending them for our patients, and using them on our own pets since 2013, we wanted to share with you what we know about the concern.
Looking back at this school year, I wonder how it could have been different. As a former educator, including at Reedsburg Area High School, having a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, I understand the rigors of education, curriculum, and the challenge of communication.
State Senator Howard Marklein is the co-chair of Wisconsin’s budget committee. Before he was elected to the legislature, he spent his professional career as a certified public accountant. I am glad that we have a CPA watching over the state’s checkbook.
On behalf of our families, we would like to send our sincerest gratitude and thanks to the Reedsburg Area Fire Department, as well as the other area responding fire departments that assisted with our house fire on February 10th.
