Letter: Trump’s actions raise eyebrows

On December 14, 2020, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled against President Donald Trump’s challenge to Wisconsin’s 2020 presidential election.  Undeterred, Trump has since considered adopting a practice of tin-horn tyrants—declaring martial law and having the military redo the election.

A poll conducted by Wisconsin Newspaper Association member papers found that most respondents are highly against the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Sixty six percent of respondents said they saw it as a coup and attempt on U.S. democracy.
