I’ll be honest: All this stock market news makes my head hurt.

Despite reading several articles, I’m still confused about the battle between Redditors and hedge fund managers over Gamestop.

Denise has died again. My dear friend Denise died five years ago, or was it six? It seems like so long ago and just yesterday. In the spring before she died, Denise and I ordered a batch of chicks to share. We ordered many different breeds; I like Rhode Island Reds and Blue Andalusians and I wanted to add a Barred Rock to my little flock.

Being a snowbird in Florida is quite interesting. We enjoy the sun, sand, and not shoveling snow.  

My wife and I are offended by Mimi Wuest’s self-loathing Jan. 21 column that orders “all of us white people(…) to let go of our dearly held belief in white privilege.”

Last week, 27 Wisconsin Republican senators, led by Howard Marklein, introduced Senate Resolution 3. In this resolution, they demanded an end to the COVID-19 public health emergency declared by Gov. Tony Evers on Jan. 19.
