Weston team awards announced for boys basketball season

Weston’s high school boy’s basketball program celebrated its season this past week with an end of season awards banquet. It was a disjointed season for the Silver Eagles, but they finished better under interim coach Lauretta Bormett and won a couple of games later in the season, ending up 4-18 overall.

Beavers announce boys wrestling award winners

A historic season for the boys wrestling program at RAHS was recognized last week at the Reedsburg Country Club. The Beavers won a conference title for the fifth straight year, sharing the overall title in Badger Small with Mount Horeb, which included an unbeaten conference dual season.

Year One of the Reedsburg Beaver girls wrestling squad as a standalone entity was a resounding success and the team and the season itself was recognized last week at the end of season banquet at the Reedsburg Country Club.

I/W’s Maxwell earns All-Conference girls basketball honor

All-Conference Girls Basketball teams have been announced for the Ridge and Valley Conference for this season. Junior Jacey Maxwell earns first team honors for Ithaca/Weston after scoring 16 points per game this season as a consistent and productive player for I/W.

RAHS alumn makes history for UW-Platteville track


Former Reedsburg Beaver Track and Field standout Hailey Campbell made history with the UW-Platteville program this past week. The junior was crowned the WIAC champion in the women’s high jump, matching her own school record of 1.71 meters. River Valley gymnasts receive awards following 2026 season


River Valley High School gymnastics recently celebrated its 2025-2026 season. Pictured is the team at the SWC Conference Meet. From left are Phoebe Butteris, Ella Prochaska, Preslee Montry, Brecklyn Kaul, Emma Jung, Carlee Burchfield, Jenna Cox, Kaitlyn Sebranek and Christine Yanke.
