A few members of the Reedsburg Beaver Track and Field squad competed in a small indoor meet at Wisconsin Rapids on Friday. Reedsburg’s girls beat out Wisconsin Rapids and Port Edward for first place while the boys fell just short to Rapids for first place with just those three schools in action on Friday.
A new era begins for Reedsburg Beaver girls soccer in 2026 as Jeremy Grundahl, a teacher at Pineview Elementary in Reedsburg, takes over as the new head coach after Erica Gronley stepped down from the role after holding the job for the past several seasons.
The first season of the Ithaca/Weston girls basketball co-op at the varsity level is in the books and the program’s team award winners were announced last month.
2025 was a magical season for Reedsburg Beaver baseball, and Coach Chris Hahn and those associated with the program are hopeful this season can provide magic once again.
If Mother Nature cooperates, Reedsburg Beaver softball will have three games in the books by this weekend as the 2026 campaign is set to get underway. Reedsburg was 15-12 overall last season with the win total the highest in 30-plus years for a Beaver softball team.
The girls hockey team, the Lake City Whitecaps from the Sauk Prairie Rink, has girls from Reedsburg, River Valley, Sauk Prairie and Lodi. The Whitecaps finished in third place at the State Tournament that was held on Feb 21-22 in La Crosse. They also won first place at the Rough Riders Tournament in Cedar Rapids Iowa Feb.13-15.
