A big season for the Ithaca/Weston softball co-op was recognized and honored recently as the team held its season ending awards banquet.

It was an MLB type weekend schedule for the Reedsburg Pirates Home Talent Baseball team with three games in three nights, and two of them were league games.

Clear Choice Window Cleaner is this week’s team champion in the Monday Night Men’s Golf League at the Reedsburg Country Club. Team members include Carlyle Greendeer, Cody Greendeer, Kurt Greendeer and Ryan Crain. Clear Choice scored 16.50 points on Monday, with Culver’s the runner-up this week at 16 points even.

Many golfers enjoyed a successful season, individually, which led to a good season overall for the Reedsburg Beaver boys golf team this spring. The team and the season was recognized recently at the team’s awards banquet.

River Valley enjoyed a strong girls soccer season this spring in the SWC and to do that, you need many good players. The rest of the conference recognized that as well with eight Blackhawks players receiving all-league recognition, four of them on the first-team unit.

Play continued this week as the Reedsburg Country Club hosted another round of the Monday Night Men’s Golf League.

J’s Pub was the highest scoring team of the week with 15.50 points, one full point ahead of runner-up Community First Bank at 14.50 team points. J’s Pub team members include Dave Hon, Gary Kalan, Pat Lamb and Rob Gardner.

When a team wins a share of a conference title, they usually have strong representation in the All-Conference voting and that certainly was the case for the Ithaca/Weston Softball co-op.

Senior Isaac Jennings leads the way in All-Conference recognition for the Weston Silver Eagle baseball team in 2026. Jennings not only earned All-Conference first team honors, but he was also selected as the Co-Pitcher of the Year in the Ridge and Valley Conference, and he is a repeat first-team player as well.

It will be one of the largest Hall of Fame classes ever this year for the Reedsburg Athletic Club as this year’s honorees were announced this past week. Three athletes and two coaches will be inducted at halftime of the Reedsburg-Holmen Football game on Sept. 18 at Millennium Field.

For the second year in a row, the Reedsburg Beavers have a first-team All-Conference player in girls soccer as announced last week.
