River Valley kicks off the boys soccer season for 2025 this week with sixth-year Head Coach Cory Schmidt watching his squad finish just above .500 last year at 10-8-5 overall but that included a second-place conference finish at 4-2-2, behind the Lancaster/Platteville co-op. Schmidt is encouraged as the regular season approaches.

Some experience returns for the Weston Silver Eagles on the volleyball court this fall, but a key player from the 2024 squad does not.
