I write to you with grave concern about our government's recent actions in Venezuela. The use of the U.S. military to arrest Nicolas Maduro and his wife and take control of Venezuelan oil is unlawful and dangerous.
Your President seems to want to put his name on everything these days from buildings to coins to Navy ships just to name a few. Putting his name on the Kennedy Center is a dishonor to the Kennedy family and the Arts!
Wisconsin citizens should be made aware that a pending case in our left leaning State Supreme Court could make Wisconsin a sanctuary state. The Court decided to hear a case, brought by Voces de la Frontera v. Gerber. The court will decide if Wisconsin sheriffs have the power under Wisconsin state law to honor immigration detainers.
The River Valley Community, once again, stepped up to help those in need. 90 units of blood were collected on January 2nd and 2 were from brand new donors. These donations have the potential of saving the lives of 270 people!

Even surrounding states, such as Illinois and Minnesota, have raised their minimum wages.
