Her name in lights
My friend died this morning.
When I learned of her death, I dug up the first words I ever wrote about her, in 2013, the first of many:

WOW! The RVHS Pops Concert 2021 was/is AMAZING!!!! I say “was” because it did already occur; but I say “is” because you can still attend. I highly recommend going to Youtube.com and search RVHS Pops Concert 2021 and take 50 minutes to watch these incredible performances!
Here we are in spring, the season of Easter and rebirth. Flowers are popping up, birds are courting, and people are buying vegetable seeds. Why then is this the time when we choose to butcher trees? Trees are, after all, one of the most powerful symbols of resurrection.
