A recent poll of Wisconsin newspaper readers found most people support the statewide mask mandate and increased restrictions on indoor gatherings.

The poll, which was posted Oct. 7-18 on Wisconsin Newspaper Association member websites, asked readers what they thought of Gov. Tony Evers’s mandate.

When spoken by your employer, the words “time off” mean a lot toward the idea of resting and clearing one’s mind. We find ourselves so busy that too often we work ourselves to the point of some serious negative health conditions.

Diversity is a name in the game of life. In years past, the pattern of life stayed very much the same. If you were born into the family of farmers, you were a farmer and it was the same of most professions in life. There was very little diversity in the home, the man was the bread winner and the head of the home.
